THE INTERRUPTIONS WE HELP YOU ADDRESS

One disconnected system
can slow the whole visit.

The service desk can’t reach its business software.

We investigate the computer, account and network connection, document the issue and coordinate with your dealership or shop-management provider for application-specific faults.

Guest Wi-Fi and business devices share too much.

We assess supported network equipment and plan appropriate separation for guests, staff and operational systems. Network redesign, coverage surveys and installation are quoted separately.

Every location handles IT differently.

We inventory enrolled devices, document the agreed configurations and organize support contacts across sites. New-site rollouts and equipment standardization follow a separately priced project plan.

START WITH A CLEAR SCOPE

Choose care by computer.
Add the systems you need.

Advanced computer care is a starting point for your covered staff workstations. Add server and network care around each site, then confirm any weekend or after-hours coverage your operating schedule requires.

Each shared or secondary computer counts once. Server care starts at $175/server/month and network care at $150/location/month. Support hours and included work follow your chosen plan.

AUTOMOTIVE IT · QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Know what comes
with your support.

Do you work with our DMS or shop-management provider?

We review your product, version, vendor requirements and authorized support paths before quoting. VFIX handles the agreed computer and network environment and coordinates escalations. We do not claim vendor certification, supply DMS licenses or make vendor-restricted application changes.

Can you help with FTC Safeguards Rule technical controls?

We can help implement agreed account protection, endpoint security, network controls, backups and employee training. The FTC’s dealer guidance explains that the rule covers most dealers that finance or lease vehicles. Coverage is not identical for every repair business. Your qualified adviser should confirm applicability and the broader security program; an IT plan alone does not establish compliance.

Are vehicle diagnostics and workshop machinery included?

No. Managed IT covers the agreed business computers and systems. Vehicle programming, diagnostic tool licensing, calibration and mechanical or workshop-equipment repairs stay with the relevant specialists. We can assess a supported computer or network connection when that work is expressly included.

Can one support plan cover several locations?

Yes. Your proposal lists covered computers, servers and network management by location, with common support contacts and agreed responsibilities. Equipment, site visits, network redesign and new-site projects are separate. Internet carrier service remains with the carrier.

Is support available whenever the dealership is open?

Coverage follows your selected plan and agreement, not automatically your sales or service opening hours. Monitoring is automated 24/7; staffed response hours, weekend needs and any emergency escalation must be confirmed before signing.

Does the example include on-site service and all software?

No. It covers the listed computer, server and network care only. DMS/shop licenses, backup, communications, hardware and projects are additional. Scheduled managed-client on-site visits are $129.99/hour with a one-hour minimum; travel and other applicable charges are agreed before dispatch.
